The Night of the 12th (EN)

THE night of the 12th

Sooner or later, every police investigator comes across a case that remains unsolved and haunts them. For Yohan, Clara's murder turns out to be that case.  What begins as a thorough investigation into her life soon turns into a nagging obsession. One interrogation follows another but there is no shortage of suspects. Only one thing is certain, the crime occurred on the night of the 12th.

The Night of the 12th had its acclaimed world premiere in Cannes 2022. It received six awards at the 2023 César Awards, including Best Film and Best Director. The film is based on the documentary novel 18.3 - A Year With the Crime Squad by Pauline Guéna, written in cooperation with the Judicial police in Versailles.

Edge Entertainment are proud to have acquired the rights in Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland as well as the Pay TV rights for Sweden from Memento International.
